Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases
Due to their diversity and ability to affect all organs, infectious diseases require detailed anamnesis, detailed examination and diagnostic tests during the diagnosis process. With correct diagnosis and treatment, the majority of these diseases result in complete recovery. Treatment success rates are almost 100%.
The Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology department not only deals with the diagnosis and treatment of infections, but also develops strategies to control hospital infections.

The goal of minimizing hospital infections is carried out by the Infection Control Committee (ICC). This committee:
- Works in accordance with the infection control regulations and scientific procedures (CDC: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) for inpatient treatment institutions.
- Meets regularly every month.
- Provides control and monitoring of antibiotic use.
- Continuously updates and implements the infection control plan.
Laboratory Services and Patient Follow-up
Laboratory services for the diagnosis of infection in our hospital are provided with state-of-the-art devices. These laboratory services are supported by visits made by an Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology specialist.
During this process:
- Patients are followed by the same specialist physician in terms of both clinical and laboratory aspects.
- This holistic approach makes the treatment process of patients more effective and coordinated.
