• I am one of the first students of Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine.
• I continued my pulmonology residency and all my academic development at the same university.
• After working as a Visiting Professor at the Allergy Clinic of the Rothschild Hospital, University of Paris during my associate professorship, I helped to establish the Allergy and Immunology laboratory,
• The most well-established scientific association of the branch of pulmonology, the Turkish Respiratory Research Association, organized national and international medical congresses during the time I served on the board of directors of the Turkish Respiratory Research Association, including the Presidency, to the development of the Pulmonology Branch,
• I contributed to the development of Interventional Bronchoscopy procedures in the Department of Chest Diseases, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine by coordinating their initiation in our country.
• I aim to create a multidisciplinary perspective on the "Lung Nodule Follow-up and Treatment" program, which has gained importance in the early diagnosis of lung cancer in recent years.
